Sephora Sale Spring 2022

The Spring Sephora savings event is here!

I take full advantage of this sale, and plan out my buy in advance as this is my time to purchase what I need for the next 6 months (or at least as much as I think I’ll need until the next sale). I’ll still end up buying a few things here and there as needed, but I find that I usually can get by mostly from this sale! I always stock up on all my favorites first, and then will buy a few items that I’ve been wanting to try. I also love the sets, as it’s a great chance to try several products for a lower price! It is a lot of money to spend at once, but I do budget for this every year and it’s the best discount I’m likely to get. Sticking to a strict budget also helps me not buy items I don’t need, and really focus on what I love most.

When going through what I currently have already, and what I need, the one big gap in my needs was skincare. Most of the items I purchased for this sale are skin care items, with a few make up essentials like concealer and the Merit flush balm added in. The sets include a full-size mascara, lip products, highlighter, and a few other make up products, I didn’t feel the need to buy much else! With my focus more on skincare, I feel less of the need to wear a lot of makeup, and have been wearing less and less of it. Personally, it has been extremely empowering and liberating, not to mention how much time I save every morning.

I did split some of my purchases in store and online. With the sale being so popular, it can take a while for things to ship, and some things I wanted to get right away since I was out. A few things I wanted were out of stock online, but I was able to find them in store so it never hurts to check if you’re there! I didn’t plan on buying the Kosas concealer because it’s always sold out in my shade, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it in stores. Other items like the Sephora Favorites sets are online only, so while I was placing my online order I could also order the items i couldn’t find in stores. I’m glad the sale does go on for the week, in case there is anything I forgot to get!
