I love coats as a layering element. They can make a simple outfit look more elevated, and can ever dress up leggings and help you look put together. I also love Anine Bing and when I saw this coat, I knew it was a special piece. It’s expensive, but I found it for 30% off at Bloomingdales! I had been eyeing it online for a while, and after trying it on store I knew for a sale price I had to grab it.
The coat is mainly white and black with a pop of blue, so it can easily be incorporated into my current wardrobe. It’s also very very soft, and has pockets which I love. My favorite part of the jacket is that it is machine washable, which is a huge plus since a lot of coats tend to be dry cleaning only. Even with 30% off it was still a bit of a splurge, but it’s something I can see myself wearing all the time. The length is a little longer on me, which I personally like to be able to wear with jeans, pants, and leggings, which means more ways to wear it.

I looked online at Bloomingdale’s website and I found a few other amazing coats on sale. The Anine Bing Houndstooth Jacket is stunning, but was unfortunately a bit too big on my frame when I tried it on in store. It was also full price! The Iro red and black jacket is also stunning, and a great price at 40% off.

Since it’s almost spring, I love to browse for sales for pieces I’ve been eyeing, as it’s the best time for sales. Nordstrom also had a some great pieces for 40-60% off, you just have to be willing to do a little digging!
