When I was first looking at what baby products to buy, a baby carrier was a must have on every list I looked at. There are tons of options to look for in varying price ranges, but one that caught my eye was the Artipoppe carrier. This one was certainly on the higher end of the price range, with styles starting at $360 and go all the way to the insane amount of $3,800. I loved the look of the carrier, but was the money worth it? Could I find a cheaper one that worked just as well? After doing a ton of research, I ended up buying the Artipoppe and it was one of the BEST baby purchases I made.
One of the most important things I looked for when researching baby carriers is making sure they were hip safe for babies. Not all baby carriers on the market are made that way, but the Artipoppe is acknowledged Hip Safe by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. This made me feel so much better knowing her tiny growing body would be in the correct position while in the carrier (you want their legs to be in an M shape!).
While expensive, there’s a ton of features that set the Artipoppe carrier apart from other ones. It’s light weight so it’s easy to bring with you anywhere, and looks super chic. It’s suitable from the newborn stage as you can use it when they’re as little as 7 lbs, and can be used until they are 45 lbs (about 2 years old). The feature that really sold me on this carrier is the different ways you can wear the baby. You can have your baby facing towards you, facing outwards (my baby’s personal favorite), or on your back. One of my favorite parts about the carrier (besides looking chic), is just how easy it is to use. It takes me less than a minute to clip is on and get the baby adjusted, and I love the adjustable neck cushion that helps support her head.
The Artipoppe carrier is also one of the best-looking carriers on the market. It doesn’t have a ton of giant buckles like some other ones do, or huge logos or branding all over which I liked. The buttons to adjust the head rest are gold, so it makes it look more elevated. I went for the black one, but it has a subtle arrow print which adds a touch of interest keeping it from looking too “boring. They also have a ton of different prints and designs that are all stunning! Another huge plus that the carrier is washable, because you know it will get drooled on.
Being petite, sizing was the one thing I was worried about. I’m only 5’2”, and wanted to make sure what I got would be able to fit me, and not have a ton of straps hanging around everywhere. I love that the carrier has little bands attached to the strap so you can neatly tuck away any of the extra strap length. The straps and waist band are padded, so it’s super comfortable to wear. My baby is now 8 months old and 17lbs, and it’s still one of my most used baby products. I don’t have any back pain while using the carrier, and my daughter absolutely loves going for walks with it.

Between the three ways you can use it, the 2 years you can get use out of it, and the ease of use and comfortability of the carrier, the Artipoppe carrier is absolutely worth the money. If baby wearing is something you plan to do, this one carrier is all you need. Breaking it out by cost per use, over 2 years and using the carrier at least once a week, it comes out to being less than $3.50 a WEEK. The first few months, I was using it every day, multiple times a day making that number even lower. When you order for the first time on their site, you also get 10% off!
If for whatever reason I lost mine, I would immediately order another one, it’s just that good. We recently went on vacation, and going through the airport with my daughter strapped to me was such a breeze, and going on walks with her while using it was so easy we ended up going on multiple walks every day.
If you are considering a baby carrier, ESPECIALLY if you’re petite, this carrier is a must have.
