The Dior Backstage Glow blush went viral a while back when it came out that it was Kylie Jenner’s favorite blush. It was sold out everywhere for months, and at the time I didn’t get the hype. Now the excitement over it has died down a bit, but it’s still a very popular blush. I pretty much only buy clean beauty and skin care, so it took me a long time to actually order this as it’s a luxury beauty product and not made with clean ingredients which I prefer.
The blush is a bright barbie pink in the packaging. I never thought I would use a color like it, or that it would look good on me. The description of the blush says it’s a universal shade, but I didn’t believe it until I tried it for myself. It does come in two shades, pink and coral, and I personally purchased the pink shade.
When I first opened the package in my order, I was shocked how small it was for the price. But a little goes a LONG way with the blush, and I don’t see myself running out of it anytime soon. After using it for a few weeks, the beautiful “Dior” imprint it still visible and it looks untouched. The blush adds a beautiful hint of color, and doesn’t look nearly as baby doll pink on the skin. It’s not very pigmented which is a common complaint on the reviews, but that’s personally my favorite part about it since it can be layered
Is it worth the money? For me I would say yes. The product is luxe and beautiful, and it brings me a little joy every time I use it. While the packaging is smaller than other blushes, I see it lasting a long time. The blush looks beautiful on, I add just a bit on my cheeks after using a cream blush and the color lasts all day. After getting this and wearing it alone and layered, I want to get the coral color as well!
