I always try and have SPF on my face every day. It’s an extra step in my routine, but it helps from sun damage and aging (even when indoors!) so it’s worth the little extra effort. To make my life easier, I also try to find products that contain SPF. I use Supergoop products and really like them, and saw the CC Sunscreen and had to try it.
The CC Screen is a 100% Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50. It protects against both UVA and UVB, and is a mineral sunscreen so it works by sitting on top of your skin. It is tinted and comes in 15 different shades, and is also vegan, cruelty free, and clean.
I have other tinted SPF products, but I was shocked at the coverage this had. Generally, the other ones I use are lightweight with buildable coverage, but this one was more medium coverage and has a natural finish. Because a little goes a long way, I like doing a thin layer, letting it set, and then apply another thin layer for a more even coverage. You can also layer with other Supergoop products to customize your finish. Layering it with the Glow Screen will leave your skin extra glowy! It does have more coverage than I usually wear on a daily basis, but still looks like your skin. I find that it looks best when used with a damp beauty sponge and patting it into your skin, rather than a brush. Since this is more a medium coverage, I don’t wear it every day but it’s great for me when I have somewhere to go or need a bit more coverage than usual.
This is such an easy product to use, and gives you the “your skin but better” look without being too cakey or heavy, and giving you some sun protection. Many shades are currently sold out on Sephora, but they are fully stocked on the Supergoop website!!
