In my shopping experience, it’s always a good to buy things when you see them even if its ahead of season since they will be harder to find when you need them. There’s still snow on the ground, and warm weather is far away, but when I saw sandals I loved I knew I had to buy them now so I’d regret it.
The Chloe Logo Slide sandals have been around for a bit. Last summer you couldn’t scroll on Instagram without seeing them. I had tried the cloth version before, but they did not fit my feet well and gaped at the sides, so I passed on them. This week, I found the lace version at a TJ Maxx Runway store. They fit my feet perfectly, and are a nude color which goes with everything. Being petite, I also love nude shoes because the help give an elongated look to your legs as well. They were 30% off retail, so they were still a bit of a splurge, but they’re such a neutral classic show that I can get a lot of wear from them. I also feel like the lace gives a different look than the cloth logo ones, and are a bit less of a trendy item since the logo is a bit more subtle!
Now I just have to wait for warmer weather to wear them!! They would look so cute with summer dresses, or even just with jeans and a t-shirt, I’m looking forward to styling them with my summer outfits.
