Jewelry was always something I struggled to organize. I have a mix of fine jewelry and fashion jewelry, and most of them are necklaces. They would always get tangled, and I didn’t like the hanging storage look as it requires a lot of space. One of my favorite organizers I had was an acrylic drawer from Muji that had velvet lined inserts you can customize with. I loved it, but it’s small and I quickly ran out of space. I tried many different jewelry storage boxes, hanging organizers, trays, until I found the perfect item for me.
When I was in the Container Store, I happened to find an end section that had sale items. Among the sale was the Stackers collection. I had seen them online before, but I figured if they’re on sale why not give it to try? They It turned out to be the best jewelry organizer I could have asked for, mainly because I can customize it to my needs.
The way Stackers work is just like how you’d expect from the name, you stack different trays based on your needs. They have deep ones that you can put your glasses in, ones that have drawers, different numbers of sections based on what you’re trying to fit. I personally started with the classic lidded jewelry box, and a 25-section tray to go under it. I use the lidded section to store my fine jewelry, and the bottom part to hold my fashion necklaces. The lidded one I can fit my necklaces and rings as there is a ring holder built in, and there are also larger sections that I can keep some sentimental items safe in. The 25 section try is perfect if you have a ton of necklaces without the worry about them getting tangled.
The absolute best part of this jewelry organizer is it can grow as your collection grows. I never have to worry about running out of space, because I can just add another tray when I need it! Each tray is also priced less than $50 each full price, even the supersize, meaning it’s not going to break the bank each time you want to add to it. I still have empty sections to add a few pieces, but I will definitely be grabbing more trays down the road!
