I’ve been trying to be more conscious of the products I purchase, especially when it comes to make up and skin care. Over the past few weeks I’ve purchased several “clean” beauty products, and found a few that I absolutely love and use daily. These days I’m all about minimal make up, nothing too fussy and easy to throw on. I just want something a little extra, and will take me 5 minutes to get ready.

I took a huge risk and ordered a few products from Tower 28. I’ve never tried their brand before so it was definitely a risk ordering multiple items at once, but I’m so happy I did. The Milky lip jelly in oat milk is my new favorite go to gloss. It’s semi sheer with just a hint of color, but super hydrating and not sticky, which is what I love in a gloss. It goes on super smooth, and I can’t wait to try more shades! The Beach Please lip + Cheek cream blush is perfect to add just a hint of color, and is super blendable and I love that it’s a multi-use product. It’s buildable, you can use as little or as much as you want. This paired with the Illuminating cream bronzer gives you the perfect just went to the beach no make up make up look. It has a slight simmer, but gives your skin a nice glow not glitter like some do. The packaging is also great to throw in your bag and bring it on the go!
My all time favorite concealer was discontinued, so I was on the hunt for a new one. It’s not easy finding a good clean formula concealer! I saw the Merit one online and hesitated because of the price, but I figured you get what you pay for, why not try it. So far it’s worth the price. I usually use cream or liquid concealer, but this one is in a stick formula, which was different. I love that it’s so easy to use, you only need to apply a little where you need it and blend it out, and it gives you a natural looking finish and doesn’t look like your wearing make up at all. It is not full coverage, but that’s what I personally love about it. Even though their products are a splurge, I can’t wait to try more products from Merit. I’ve got my eye on their cream blush and highlighter next!
Since I’m not wearing a full face of make up everyday, skin care has become extremely important to me. I’ve loved every single product Summer Fridays has ever released, and the Cloud Dew was no exception. It’s lightweight and bouncy, and makes your skin super hydrated and glowy in a non-greasy way since it’s oil free.
The Tower 28 Save Our Skin rescue facial spray is a product I didn’t know I needed. I’m not going to lie, it does smell mildly like a pool, but for me that one negative is worth everything positive. I use it on my face before going out and wearing a mask, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin. It doesn’t get congested, and I don’t break out nearly as much.
So far I haven’t hated many things I’ve tried, but I also do a ton of research and read as many reviews as I can before choosing to purchase an item. If anyone has any great recommendations for clean beauty products please let me know!
