Unless I REALLY need something, I always go shopping with an open mind. If you go in for specific items, it’s easy to miss other things! Whenever I go shopping, I always have a budget of how much I want to spend, and what items I can allow myself to purchase. If it’s an everyday basic or work friendly, I will always buy things if the price is right. If it’s more of a fashion forward item, I’m less inclined since I have less of a need for it.
When I walked into my local Nordstrom Rack, I found a few of my favorites! I LOVE J Brand jeans, especially the Maria High rise. They always fit me perfectly (besides the length) and are super soft. I love the light wash since I don’t own too many. And then I saw the price. I couldn’t believe it!
The red color of this plaid really stood out for me. As someone who mostly wears black and greys, color is hard. But plaids are always a classic, and easy to wear. They are also so versatile! You can wear them buttoned up, or over a t shirt more cardigan style. And the fact that this one was under $25, it was a must-have.
