I work a 9-5 (technically 8-4) desk job in a corporate office. I’m very lucky that my office has a casual dress code, but that doesn’t mean I want to be wearing my “work” clothes on the weekends. Every morning I have the same struggle. I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR. But lets be real. I have plenty to wear. I just can’t make decisions.
I am also the person who hits snooze a few too many times, and then has to rush a little to get ready.
After a while, I was sick and tired of having the same panic every morning. So I decided to make a purchase, and it made getting ready in the morning SO much easier.
I went online and ordered a garment rack. Below are a few a loved:


I decided to use the rack as a work outfit grab and go rack. All of my favorite work top, jackets, dresses, etc are all together in one place, and I can just pick something off the rack and know the 1. It will be work appropriate and 2. Its something I love.
It seems like a simple concept, but just having everything in one place made things so much easier. Using just a section of your closet would do the same thing, but for me I needed total separation. For some people this may seem silly and ridiculous, but when I’m running late and don’t want to have to think about putting together an outfit. And its also a great way to keep track of what you wear! Once an outfit is worn, you can just stick it at the end of the rack.
